Valentines day dining out in Brooklyn can pose a challenge to some as there are so many great restaurants to choose from. This Valentines day Cecily Travels has made it a little easier by sharing a few local Brooklyn restaurants some offering Valentines day specials.
80 6th Ave “Between St Marks and Prospect”
This is one of my personal favorite restaurants. The ambience is cute with cuban music playing in the background, but not so loud that you’ll have to shout to hear your date. The food is delicious!! I’ve never ordered anything that I haven’t liked. My staple dish is the fish with mango and cuban corn “YUMMY”. You will not be disappointed by the food or service as both are great. Please note Cubana Cafe only accepts cash and there is an ATM at the location. To view Cubana Cafe menu click here.
238 Flatbush Ave
Sugar Cane Caribbean restaurant is a local favorite if you’re in the mood for good food, good drinks and great music this. Sugar canes menu ranges from jerk chicken to ox tails. My favorite dish is the king fish with sweet plantains. If you’re into spicy food Sugar Cane serves a delicious jerk chicken dish. If you are going to go to Sugar Cane for Valentines Day dinner I’d highly recommend reservations as the venue is very small, you should also know the music can be very loud at times making it hard to hear your date.
Fresh ,Seasonal and local that’s the ICI restaurant.
